Next KCA Board Meeting Thur Nov 7th

Our next board meeting will be held on Thursday November 7th at 5:30 pm in person at the Kula Elementary School room P11. To place an item on the agenda, please contact:  KCA President, Bobbie Patnode, bobbiepatnode (at) fastmail.fm.

​Kekaulike Detour Begins Tues Sept 3rd

​We have been informed by Goodfellow Bros. construction company that beginning Tuesday, September 3, there will be a major construction project on Kekaulike Avenue (Highway 377) to repair the damaged section of the road.  Goodfellow has announced that there will be detour signs placed on both sides of the construction site.  It is anticipated that the project will last from September through May 2025.

Goodfellow Notice - Kekaulike Ave Road Shutdown at M.P. 8.2

On Tuesday September 3rd, 2024, Goodfellow Bros. will begin performing road work on Kekaulike Ave at M.P. 8.2. An entire road shutdown will affect travel in the surrounding area.  Users of Kekaulike Ave are encouraged to find an alternate route and adjust schedules as appropriate. If you are traveling from the north (Waiakoa Road side) Copp Road will be used as a detour. If you are traveling from the south (Alae Road side) Kula Highway will be used as a detour. Construction is scheduled to be concluded by early May 2025, subject to change.

The vision of the Kula community Association is to preserve open space, support agriculture, maintain a rural residential atmosphere, and to work together as a community. The specific purpose of this association is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Kula, to promote civic welfare and generally to benefit the community of Kula.
