Water Task Force     Doug Sheehan - Chair, Jim Caldwell, Lou Szabo, Sean Wilson, Dick Mayer
  • To create a collaborative effort between government, private industry, and the community associations of Maui to develop a long term water delivery and storage system that will serve all the agriculture and domestic needs of the Upcountry community.
Digital Media Exploration     Chuck Carletta - Chair, India Brassingram, Jim Caldwell, Jordan Hocker, Dick Mayer, Betty Plevney, Michael Tengan
  • To review and assess the KCAʻs use of digital media and to propose recommendations to the Board for improvement.
Programs (pending)     Dick Mayer -  chair, India Brassingram,  Jordan Hocker
  • To plan, publicize, and conduct the programs for KCA Community meetings.
By-laws Review (pending)     Bobbie Patnode, Betty Plevney, Doug Sheehan
  • To review the KCA By-laws, recommend changes to the Board and finalize agreed-upon changes in preparation for a membership vote to amend the by-laws.

Our Vision
The vision of the Kula community Association is to preserve open space, support agriculture, maintain a rural residential atmosphere, and to work together as a community. The specific purpose of this association is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Kula, to promote civic welfare and generally to benefit the community of Kula.
