Hawai'ian Homelands (Waiohuli & Keokea)

The Department of Hawaiian Homelands prepared a master plan for the development of its Maui Lands.  One of these areas is the 6,112 acre Waiohuli Homelands, located makai of the Kula Highway in Keokea and discussed in the following document.   Although much construction has taken place and many homes built, a shortage of water and high infrastructure costs are limiting the full development of this project at this time.
